Start nowWhen insight hasn’t reached your body
Â
You may have worked hard on your mental health through therapy, reflection or other forms of support. You understand a great deal—and still notice that something is missing.
Anxiety or low mood keeps returning, and it can be hard to regain a sense of control.
A therapist or doctor has suggested a somatic or body-based approach, but you are unsure what that actually means or where to begin.
Your mind races while your body feels heavy, frozen or numb—or your body feels tense and agitated while your mind checks out.
These experiences are not evidence that you have failed at healing. They can be signs that your nervous system and body need to be included in the process.
Â
Â
A practical first experience of somatic healing.
Â
This mini-course gives you a clear, guided way to recognise three signs that you are ready to reconnect with your body. Across three days, nervous-system education is combined with trauma-sensitive body and breath practices, guided reflection, and ways to carry what you notice into daily life.
Yoga therapy is somatic work. It includes body, breath, mind, awareness and choice, and the practices can be adapted to your nervous system and your experience in each moment.
The three signs you’ll learn to recognise
Â
1. Anxiety or low mood continues despite insight
See how different nervous-system states can have different needs. You’ll compare support, rhythmic movement, rest and recovery, then notice what your body responds to.
Â
2. Body-based therapy has been suggested, but the way in feels unclear
Understand what a somatic approach includes through the yoga-therapy map of body, breath, mind, wisdom and spirit, followed by a practice that brings these layers into one experience.
Â
3. Your mind, body and breath feel out of sync
Recognise common mind-body and breath patterns—such as a wired mind with a tired body, an agitated body with a foggy mind, or feeling flat, frozen or hard to sense—and identify an accessible way to meet the pattern.
Â
The goal isn’t to change everything in three days. It’s to help you gain clarity, awareness, and confidence about whether a body-based approach could support the next stage of your healing journey.
Sometimes readiness looks like curiosity, not certainty
